Hamilton Christian School | Middle School
Energetic middle schoolers arrive in our “back hall” every year–not only with enthusiasm and curiosity but also with a bit of trepidation. They are met with dynamic, caring teachers ready to lead them through the transition years with a challenging Bible-based curriculum that includes technology to prepare them for their future. Teachers use creativity and flexibility to accommodate the different learning styles of students and to help them discover their own identity in Christ. HCS also affords middle school students the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of clubs, such as student council, drama club, quiz bowl, and sports, such as basketball, football, volleyball, and cheerleading. Our Big Warrior/Little Warrior program pairs students with high school student mentors to help guide them academically, socially, and spiritually.
The goal of Hamilton Christian School is to provide a Christ-centered college-preparatory education in a disciplined environment. The teachers and administrators here at Hamilton want what is best for your children in their academic as well as their spiritual lives.
Hamilton Christian School was formed in the spring of 1990 with the merger of Glad Tidings Christian Academy and Alleluia Acres Christian Academy.
Dr. David Moore, a retired educator of the Louisiana public school system, was named first principal. HCS continues to build upon its rich history to provide excellence in education for Christian families in the Lake area.
